Welcome
About us - The Full Story
In the late 90’s I, Michael Lanfield started DJ’ing under various aliases. I started various music projects and many websites and after many unsuccessful tries I gave up and decided to research and explorer different styles. My favourite was electronic music. In the early 2000s I discovered Brian Eno’s music, “Music for Airports” and fell in love with the sound. Soon there after, I decided to dedicate my time to listening and mixing ambient music.

In 2003, after watching many documentary films and seeing the catastrophe that humans put on the world and nature, I decided that it was time that I did something about it. I started petitions, and a forum dedicated to saving nature and animals, with moderate success. I kept learning – reading books, articles and watching documentary films. My forum "Saving Animals and Their Habitats" received over 2000 users.

In the summer of 2008 I started the project Ambient New World, dedicated to offering free legal relaxing music for download. “For such beautiful music, why should people have to pay retail? Music should be distributed freely over the internet. If people like the music send the artist or company a donation”. I decided to join my music project with the environment forum and combine the two projects into one forum. The other forum "Saving Animals and Their Habitats" (including all 2000 users) to this date is lost and gone forever.

In 2009 we joined Facebook to expand our network, organize events and teach a large number of individuals on the many issues that are hidden from the truth; by mass media, public media, governments and large multi national corporations who do not want you to know the truth. We do this in many ways; through demonstrations, benefit parties, distributing fliers, signing petitions and group discussions. The topics of main concern are on the environment, cruelty and suffering towards animals, vegetarianism and veganism, the media, multi national corporations and government. We educate people on the truth and not false information mass and public media, government and large multinational corporations are portraying.

"I am a dedicated environmentalist, conservationist, animal activist and vegan. Becoming a vegan will feed the entire world ten times over."

When we human beings (in general) destroy the environment, animals and create/contribute to more greenhouse gases we are not just destroying the earth, we are basically destroying our human race.

I think it is mainly the huge multinational corporations and the governments who just care period about themselves. They don't care about their children or anyone else and surely don't care about future generations. They only care about the money they make before they die. But why is this?

It is to my belief that man is brought to earth for two things, to make money and to be more powerful. So the more money and more powerful you are the better you are and we will do almost anything to get there and when we do we always strive to want to get more and achieve more.

But isn't enough, enough?
Even man knows we are destroying the environment, but we destroy it even more. And here is why.

In my opinion man destroys the environment because he/she thinks that the mother nature is endless, even that now we know that it is not true. Mother nature can only do so much to help and even when man cuts down millions and millions of trees we tend to think there is enough to last forever. This thought, forever is fixed in our minds and it is the open minded people and the people who are looking to help the world that know this one thought is absolutely not true. And it is even scientifically proven to be false assumption. But why do these narrow-minded people still have these thoughts implanted in their minds?

One reason might be because they are in a one way track, they think what is the use of trying to help when so many millions are destroying it? So they go along with the millions of narrow minded thinkers and go on living life making money and living the materialistic world.

In general I think people don't have time to care about what's going on in this world. People couldn't care less, they think if the world ends who cares, as long as I work and buy materialistic things to make me happy or do my hobbies and forget the rest.

There are some reasons for this...

1. Some people just don't care, they work, make money and live their lives in a materialistic world and don't care about anyone and sometimes not even their kids or about future generations.

2. People don't understand what we humans are doing to this earth. There is no truth; there is no information from the media, governments or huge multinational corporations.

3. People are too busy with their lives going to work and coming home. Most people don't even have the time to educate themselves about the environment and ways to help it.

4. Some people just don't have the necessary income to buy green products because overall green products or natural foods on average cost more, but in the end you save tons of more money, the environment and your health.

I fully agree with you Michael!

Indeed this rough and egoistic carelessness is one reason for so much pain and destruction in this world. Luckily not all people act, live, and think all the same way. A good example are the Aborigenes of Australia: their message is clear and simple - to be responsable of caring, with unconditional love.

We're not here to change people's lives; it's about educating them about helping the environment, animals and saving the planet. When we save the planet we essential save ourselves. We're in a society where people, just, uh, don't care and consume too much of the natural resources of this planet. And I think the media and big businesses implant in the working classes minds that we need to buy more and more materialistic goods in order to be satisfied. Of course, the majority of these people are Westerners, but of course it also applies to the rest of the world.

But what can we do about this? Well, first of all it starts with individual people, the passionate individuals to do something about it, to save us from ourselves. No matter what those individuals do, if it’s protecting animals, the ecosystem, the environment and nature or protecting themselves from buying harmful foods with pesticides and chemicals and not buying animal products they can do their part.

What can you do now? You can do your part by educating yourself and straying away from media and the news. You can educate yourself with reliable resources on the internet, by connecting with broad minded individuals just like yourself, having discussions and going to environmental meetings, organizing demonstrations, signing petitions and knowing what foods you buy and choose to consume.

You are most likely never going to change the way big business think or run, but if you educate individuals the way they are supposed to treat the world they will start to see the truth about big business and media and stop supporting them in every way.

If we all think we are too little, or too old or too poor to do anything about it, you are wrong, everybody has a chance to do their part, we humans don’t want to end up extinct like the dinosaurs.

I think the problem is, that we don't understand what we are. In essence we're, uh, you know, just a conceited naked ape, but in our minds we're some sort of divine legend and we see ourselves as some sort of god, that we can just walk around the Earth deciding who will live and who will die, and what will be destroyed and what will be saved. But the fact is, we're just a bunch of primates out of control.

We're now in the midst of a Third World War, but this time the enemy is ourselves and the objective is to save the planet from ourselves. There is no hope for the masses of humanity to do anything. They never have, they never will. All social change comes from the passionate intervention of individuals or small groups of individuals.

Slavery wasn't ended by any government or any institution. Women got the right to vote not because of any government. The civil-rights movement, the same thing- India with Mahatma Gandhi, South Africa with Nelson Mandela. Again, it's always individuals. You need those individuals with the passion and the energy to get involved. In fact, I don't know of any governments or institutions that are doing anything to solve any of these problems. All over the world, though, I am seeing individuals and non-government organizations that are passionately involved in protecting ecosystems and species, and that's where I see some optimism that's where results are happening.
