Welcome
About us - The Full Story
In the late 90’s I, Michael Lanfield started DJ’ing under various aliases. I started various music projects and many websites and after many unsuccessful tries I gave up and decided to research and explorer different styles. My favourite was electronic music. In the early 2000s I discovered Brian Eno’s music, “Music for Airports” and fell in love with the sound. Soon there after, I decided to dedicate my time to listening and mixing ambient music.

In 2003, after watching many documentary films and seeing the catastrophe that humans put on the world and nature, I decided that it was time that I did something about it. I started petitions, and a forum dedicated to saving nature and animals, with moderate success. I kept learning – reading books, articles and watching documentary films. My forum "Saving Animals and Their Habitats" received over 2000 users.

In the summer of 2008 I started the project Ambient New World, dedicated to offering free legal relaxing music for download. “For such beautiful music, why should people have to pay retail? Music should be distributed freely over the internet. If people like the music send the artist or company a donation”. I decided to join my music project with the environment forum and combine the two projects into one forum. The other forum "Saving Animals and Their Habitats" (including all 2000 users) to this date is lost and gone forever.

In 2009 we joined Facebook to expand our network, organize events and teach a large number of individuals on the many issues that are hidden from the truth; by mass media, public media, governments and large multi national corporations who do not want you to know the truth. We do this in many ways; through demonstrations, benefit parties, distributing fliers, signing petitions and group discussions. The topics of main concern are on the environment, cruelty and suffering towards animals, vegetarianism and veganism, the media, multi national corporations and government. We educate people on the truth and not false information mass and public media, government and large multinational corporations are portraying.

"I am a dedicated environmentalist, conservationist, animal activist and vegan. Becoming a vegan will feed the entire world ten times over."

I have a Canon digital camera, and yes I know how to create a video with my camera. My question is how to make a professional video advertisement for Ambient New World with my camera and somehow uploading it to youtube.com ?

I do have Microsoft Movie Maker, but I am stuck on exactly how to create the video and then transfer it to youtube.com

Yes I created a video before, but with great difficulty. I would like to use some kind of images with words on it and create an amazing video, like they do in flash. But how to do it? Any suggestions guys? Thanks!

Too bad you're not on MAC, Michael! So in this case i can't help you 'cause i dunno nothing about Microsoft. You'll need some good additional software to edit your clips. On Mac we have iMovie - very basic software but nice. And FinalCut Studio for professional working.

For other systems i know "AVID media composer" - professional tool too.
Info here: http://www.avid.com/products/Media-Composer-Software/index.asp
Do a research on Google and you surely will find some shareware or freeware for your system.
Have a look here: http://www.softpedia.com/

Anyway, you need good knowledges to edit videoclips and sound with advanced software.
Hope this helps you

;)

suggestion:

Just shoot small scenes of animals, forests, rivers, lakes on your camera at the best quality possible (640x480 should be the minimum) without any shake (if possible), if not buy a camera and then return (if possible). Shoots scenes like 5-10 minutes each. Load them to your computer. After that, when you get 10-20 hours of footage edit the best footage into a 40min. - 1h 30min. full length movie. Then later do some research and add narration. Then last step is to add in the music where appropriate mixing the music from song to song.

The best way in my opinion is to gather short clips (about 2-15 minutes in length) from any camera that has resolution of at least 640x480. then transfer it to computer and use windows movie maker to blend the clips together and add the music. If you want narration you have to include that with the music before adding it to the clips in Movie maker.

I think I will just make some clips of nature and then just add music, without narration, then later when I get more experience then I will create professional videos with narration. But to get good nature clips is still a hard task.

Hello Michael!

Have a look at the wonderful clips of Diatonis - most show nature sceneries - very professional made and great music within. I follow Diatonis since quite some years, he's now around the 70'ies of age and still producing excellent works.
